FRANK MARBURGER
PHOTOGRAPHY
1965 in Karlsruhe geboren.
1989 – 1991 assistierte er bei verschiedenen Fotografen mit Schwerpunkt „Architektur, Essen & Trinken, Stilllife, Möbel“ in Karlsruhe und Frankfurt.
1991 – 93 studierte er am Berliner Lette-Verein, Abschluss August 1993 als Fotografengeselle.
Seit 1993 ist er freier Fotograf mit Sitz in Frankfurt am Main mit Schwerpunkt Stiilife, Dokumentation und Architektur.
1995/96 fotografierte er für die Editon Sticha “Erfolg ist kein Zufall“ – Portraits über erfolgreiche Berliner Menschen. Beide Serien mit Buchveröffentlichungen für den Deutschen Presseball.
1996 dokumentierte er den Circus Ethiopia in Addis Abbeba / Äthiopien und im selben Jahr auf deren Deutschlandtour.
1999 Für die Serie „Architektur S/W Triptychen“ erhielt er eine Auszeichnung beim Europäischen Architekturpreis mit Fotoausstellung auf der Photokina.
Ab 2001 Fortsetzung der Triptychen Serie in verschiedenen internationalen Städten
2005 – 2013 verschiedene Ausstellungen im Projekt „KunstRäume“ mit neuen Werken der Triptychen
Ab 2009 mehrjährige Dokumentationen verschiedener Frankfurter Großbauprojekte „Deutsche Bank / Silvertower / WinX. Nach Abschluss Buchveröffentlichungen
Seit 2019 begleitet er den Neubau des Museum Reinhard Ernst mit seinem Kollegen Klaus Helbig

Born in Karlsruhe in 1965.
1989 – 1991 he assisted various photographers with a focus on „architecture, food & drink, still life, furniture“ in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt.
1991 – 93 he studied at the Lette-Verein in Berlin, graduating in August 1993 as a journeyman photographer.
Since 1993 he has been a freelance photographer based in Frankfurt am Main with a focus on still life, documentation and architecture.
In 1995/96 he photographed for Editon Sticha „Erfolg ist kein Zufall“ (Success is no coincidence) – portraits of successful Berliners. Both series with book publications for the German Press Ball.
1996 He documented Circus Ethiopia in Addis Abbeba / Ethiopia and in the same year on their tour of Germany.
1999 For the series „Architecture B/W Triptychs“ he received an award at the European Architecture Prize with a photo exhibition at the Photokina.
From 2001 continuation of the triptychs series in various international cities.
2005 – 2013 various exhibitions in the project „KunstRäume“ with new works of the triptychs
From 2009, several years of documentation of various major Frankfurt construction projects „Deutsche Bank / Silvertower / WinX. After completion, book publications
Since 2019, he has been accompanying the new building of the Museum Reinhard Ernst with his colleague Klaus Helbig
